Panda Express Brings Back Honey Sesame Chicken for Limited Time

  • Industry News August 15, 2018

Panda Express, America’s favorite Chinese kitchen, announced today the return of a guest favorite dish, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast, to restaurants nationwide. Available for a limited time, the entrée will feature the same beloved crispy chicken breast strips, string beans and yellow bell peppers tossed in a sweet sesame sauce – for the first time crafted with organic honey.

Since its first appearance on the menu in 2013, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast has grown a devoted following of fans who await its reappearance each year. Returning just in time for fall, busy families can find comfort in knowing this special dish is once again available at Panda Express, ready to perk up their busy back-to-school routines. Better yet, the newly added organic honey enriches the original recipe and is a delicious complement to other Panda Express dishes such as the Original Orange Chicken and better-for-you WokSmart dishes like the popular Broccoli Beef.

“The wait is over for Honey Sesame Chicken Breast, which offers the bold Chinese flavors one can expect at Panda Express,” says Chef Jimmy Wang, director of culinary innovation. “As one of our most popular limited time offers, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast brings families together at the table - an important moment in life that we hope all of our guests have more time to enjoy with their loved ones.”

In anticipation of Honey Sesame Chicken Breast’s return, Panda Express has introduced a new mobile app that is designed to save guests time and serve up quality dishes in a faster, simpler way. The main features include an interactive step-by-step ordering process; group ordering, allowing multiple Guests to input their menu selections from different phones; catering function to plan for large gatherings; access to past orders; a nutrition calculator; and a location finder. Those looking to make their lunch and dinner routines even easier can download the new app through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
