BBI Swirls Up CherryBerry Stores in Kansas, Missouri

Beautiful Brands International (BBI) today announced the signing of a master franchise agreement with Darren Martin to develop its CherryBerry Self-Serve Yogurt Bar throughout Kansas and Missouri.

“We have a great opportunity here to take the CherryBerry brand to the next level,” says David Rutkauskas, Beautiful Brands founder, president, and CEO. “Darren is the perfect fit for our development strategy in Kansas and Missouri as we seek to expand our footprint regionally.

The agreement is part of an expansive strategy by BBI to partner with a host of franchise developers committed to expanding the CherryBerry brand globally. The CherryBerry franchise has a total of 60 stores open nationwide with 35 stores under construction and 60 more to be opened within this year alone.

The first CherryBerry unit from this agreement is slated to open in Kansas by the summer of 2012 in a premier shopping center.

“Frozen yogurt fans throughout Kansas and Missouri are going to be very excited to have a self-serve offering with so many choices of creamy, 100 percent all natural frozen yogurt,” says Darren Martin, CherryBerry master developer.

CherryBerry Self-Serve Yogurt Bar was founded by Dallas and Robyn Jones in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and is one of the fastest growing brands in the fro-yo category. The menu offers 16 premium rotating healthy and fat-free frozen yogurt flavors and more than 50 toppings.

Since CherryBerry became a part of Beautiful Brands International in June 2011, BBI has sold more than 200 franchises and generated millions in franchise fees for CherryBerry.
